Just happen to read your post brother...More than your trip details to India, what excited me was your intent to retain and protect the identity of our religion, customs and faith. Every religion has their own share of good and bad. While the holy texts preach all good, the religious practices have eroded the sanctity be it radical fundamentalism in Islam, Mass conversions in Christianity, Exploitation of Caste System in Hinduism etc. While there is nothing new to talk about rapid spread of Islam in Europe, the most worrying factor is Conversions to Christianity in India. You converting to Christianity out of your choice does not raise a concern, but influencing, intimidating and duping people about the miracles of the LORD is no less than a CRIME. I did my B.Com in Loyola College Chennai and I can speak out very much about the state of affairs in TN. No wonder TN will be the next region after North East, J&K, Kerala & Goa, TN will have Hindus as minorities in next decade or so. There has been a rapid conversions right from Brahmins to SC/ST. Some examples : 1. All slums in Chennai have a church with lot of freebies like CD players, Cakes, books circulated about the greatness of Jesus. 2. All movie fanatics are shown Heros like Vijay & Vikram asking them to convert. My friend worked for a Christian missionary and they had monthly targets to convert every month. I know AP suffered a lot during YSR regime and I am sure god forbid, if the kissing messiah Jagan comes to power, the so called Brothers of Jesus will have a playfield. Anything we talk on such sensitive topics, we are branded as Saffron brigade by the so called pseudo secularists and liberals. But I am glad there are atleast few in the society who are putting in their efforts to withstand such onslaught. Let me know if I can be of any help in terms of researach, write ups etc. I can try to pitch in to the best of my abilities  | ||

17 day trip to india personal+NGO work.. Places covered Hyd + Krishna dist + East Godavari first week HYD lo personal pani ayyaka...went to bandar...then to EG few of my friends who are actively into NGO are at EG.... went to dokiparru veneteswara swamy temple..awesome...baaga kattaru...memu vellinappudu 3rd year celebrations jarugutunnayi...everything was organised and splendid..nice initiative by MEGA... went to some other temples in bandar...very nice.... nageswara swamy gudi, narasimhaswamy gudi..manginapudi panduranga swamy gudi cover ayyayi....nice positive feeling.... now the actual point... conversions and suvartha kootamulu idivarakantha ekkuva levu in bandar...intensity taggindi...but baaga unnayi...good thing is awareness perigindi janaalalo...so koddiga change kaniistondi..... bandar lo kooda ee year hanuman jayanti roju sobha yaatra chesaranta....saw stickers which reads "Prabhuvulakey prabhuvu sri ramachandra prabhuvu" on some bikes... our NGO submitted a memorandum to Krishna district collector over alleged FCRA irregularities of some christian NGOs...( I was not part when this when it was submitted) response was good and collector copied this to CMO and home ministry....received acknowledgements for both..... will update more about NGO shortly...
