4+ kaabatti you can join him in activities like swimming, karate, music instrument, dance, soccer, ice skating etc...instead of watching ipad this will improve physical activity plus meeting new people making friends, improving discipline and focus...music instrument will improve hand eye mind coordination as the have to read the notes and immediately reproduce using mind and hands...just different way of improving focus....education related i would not even worry as our kids always do well and only after 5th grade learning gets steep here in US...appati daakaa let them explore all other activities outside...we can also inculcate book reading habit by taking them to library once/twice a week...in summer they usually have activities in libraries... | ||

H_D na feelings correct ga cheppadu time_waste bro..my intent is to not ruddhify the kid but to figure out what excites him (besides his iPad).....he is very competitive by nature so i want to use his 'competitive nature' to figure out what is it that he's passionate about... this is to divert his attention from iPad....this became a big nuisance - kid has excellent language skills but his favorite thing to do is watch toy unpacking videos | ||

hello fathers and mothers.....do u know of any competitive programs or educational programs for 4+ year old kids? india lo quiz competitions ani, ee type raka rakala competitions undevi....running races, sac races whatever ikkada vatiki equivalent emanna unnaya? when i google i only see summer camps (v limited to no options for 4-5 year old kids) and kumon / i3 kind of stuff.....how can we excite the kids with educational / competitive activities? any recommendations are much appreciated....i want to excite the kids into learning things - and not force them to do anything |
