not sure if this is a true issue. If US farmer want to be competitive, they need to either embrace newer technologies or pay higher prices for labor so US citizens can work on the farms. I think it will balance out in the long run, but may be increase the cost of production in the US. there is always the solution of importing the goods when the production gets too costly. the current system for short term jobs is not viable in my view. its highly unlikely that people that come in for a 10 month will simply return back to their countries and come back again the next year. | ||
