that is the general process. That is why I referred to Trump rally registrations . Both follow same way. Fill in details for registration , Secretary of State verifies the details and sends the registration card. There are some exceptions to same day registration process!!

This is where Dems uttely failed.
Even if DACA is not approved by senate. It will most probably end in courts.
Even if it fails in courts. . No administration can deport them all, it will be a logistic nightmare. They might all end up in jails and become huge humanitrian crisis. So Dems Do not have to do anything . if it comes to vote say yes if not sit tight.

You are not supposed to evict him when he is doing various things and should take care of his basic needs, health under the pretext of humanitarian cause. brother memu cheppedi ade, fix the issues in legal immigration - age out issues, ,per country quota, backlogs - take out diversity lottery and chain migration numbers and apply those to employment based GC's or do a one time deal to settle the backlogs on GC with one time quota of GC's up to a certain date. then GC backlog will be clean slate and then enforce the 6 yr rule for H1(if thats feasible). From then onwards GC's will take 2-4 yrs to materialize, we do not need 65k H1's each year too, thats way too much. We are not creating that many jobs. Everything needs a good hard look on the legal immigration front.

You are proposing a third kind!! So constitutional amendment is required
no ammenment needed to take out chain migration brother, that is what is being proposed. As i said DACA receipients we cannot stop them from sponsoring parents. Even for that to happen the parents have to show legal domicile, if they have been living in the USA as illegals then there is the issue of resolving that too. I see this as a windfall in itself - charge $5000 per person DACA beneficiaries - only who have already declared and their parents - we are looking at atleast $10k per family and there is the assured funding for the security strengthening with a committment to take out chain immigration clause from immigration with immediate effect.

Fighting for work based is important and immediate family is also important, we do not need extended family + diversity visas

CIR is a must and should have DACA as part of it as a one time settlement for a fee.
Chain migration has to go, we are getting scrap in to this country who are public charge which we dont need. We don't need diversity anymore , we need skilled people coming in and helping the workforce. If american economy is strong economies around the world will prosper, this has been proven time and again. Get in the best boost the economy and the prosperity will flow around the globe. There was enough problems that we have to deal with and illegal immigration is on the stop of it along with drugs

Scrap cheyaledu ga? he still left time to negotiate and get a good deal, he said he was compassionate about their status and has put conditions around it. Why is ending chain immigration not a good one? why is diversity lottery not a good decision? we do not need any of this any longer if we go with a merit based system. while on one hand we want all the benefits of a good system we want to provide incentives to people who break laws. Where is the end to this? today 750k + another 1.5 million assuming each of them have both parents alive and then chain immigration in form of sisters/brothers/grandparents. We should stop this non-sense. If they are skilled enough they can come in skilled category - this is not a free for all country, come on in we will take care of you.
