It's sad to see we don't have a single batsmen in current lineup who could adjust & score runs in overseas conditions like Sachin, Rahul & Laxman. Great batsmen adjust quicker. I had a close realisation of this when we went to Australia and South Africa in the early '90s. Sachin Tendulkar developed South African instincts in a week, while the rest of us took much longer. That is why I thought India had such a good chance of chasing 208, because in Kohli they have that great batsman. | ||

Parthiv Patel's technique frankly is slightly better than Dhawan's for overseas conditions. He is a much better puller and hooker. He better replace both Saha and Dhawan at once. our players kohli/vijay/pujara has no issues with pace but swing is the problem. Philander average speed 128k and bcoz of swing and also he put the ball in right place and that caused issues to our batsman | ||
