I had my aadhar with my relative (owns and lives permanently at a fixed address) address. Updated all accounts etc with that address and aadhar linked. So, I can use that address as my local (Indian) address. Remember: NRI: Native of Indian(in other words you must have a physical reference to India) who is living(residing) abroad. In other words, your current residential address is not a physical reference to your Indian part of NRI. Having said that, please have a permanent address reference on your documents which traces back to India at any time till you relinquish your Indian citizenship. | ||

india address vunte india lo panulu easy .. like adhar application you can apply just by showing passport with indian address as long as it is k to receive adhar cards over there (or have someone pick it up..).. then pan and anything else .. | ||

If you use the same old india address, the old passport is the proof. India address does not matter, if you need to use updated india address, then you may need Aadhar Card/Electricity Bill/Bank Statement etc. | ||

Platypus is right You don’t need Indian address proof to apply in US or UK, just keep the old address. This is what the embassy employees will also tell you. | ||

As someone who applied for passport extension last week, here are my answers. 1. India address is only for printing on the Passport. The application form clearly asks for a mailing address. That's where the passport is shipped. No police verification - nothing at all at the Indian address. In fact in my case too, we don't live there anymore. (It is not my permanent address in India) 2. Your passport comes with the same address but with "Place of Issue" as London (in my case). 3. Going forward, Passport WILL NOT EVEN contain the address. Basically Indian government has just decided not to print that last page of the passport. They will have those details in their database but it won't be on the passport. So if you apply now, there is a high chance you won't even have that page. Disclaimer: Do your own research before investing in any cryptocurrency or conventional stocks. exact process unte cheppani. coz we have a house and inti pannu kuda kadutunnam. everyone in my family have address proofs with the same address except me. last time india vellinappudu voterid and adhar updates kosam apply chesa. voter id update cheyyadaniki anganvadi workers verification kosam ocharu, by the time they came for verification, i am back in US . vallu reject chesaru saying this person doesnt live here ani. aadhar vadu, voter id with the same address copy upload chesthe aadhar update chesta ani reject chesadu. | ||

same situation here, you have to provide address proof only when are changing the address, get the passport without address change and go to desam get aadhar card or whatever you want for proof, come back to US and then change the address as a misc service. | ||
