thank you very much for such big post. 2 wheeler driving, long journeys chesthara?

Also chesi ennalaindi?

by gods grace my dad is very healthy and active.... like i said he walks 5 kilometers every day no matter what... regular exercise and healthy diet very important (adi manak kuda important but we just dnt do it until something major happens :-))

right after the surgery nen maa daddy ki car konicchina because I didnt want him to drive 2 wheeler... that being said 2 wheeler drive cheyyochu... not at all a problem if they can.... but kick start etc unnavi cheyyodhu, button start better..

Long journeys ante after surgery maa father frequently drives his car to palamur from HYD ... hyd la kuda he drives a lot, came to US 3 times.. 6 months each time.. no issues what so ever...

Nen patient ni ane feeling ni pakkana pettale first.... try to be as active as u can at the same time dnt tire urself out... no extremes annattu

If ur relative wants to talk to my dad, he will be more than happy to provide any inputs... number kaavale ante PM me...

Maa daddy ki ayyindi by pass -

Post Surgery -

1. it takes 1-2 months for recovery.. chaala weak ayitharu after the surgery.. weightloss kuda chaala ayitharu.. it takes few months for weight gain

2. Imporant thing is mental strength... naaku surgery ayyindi ani nen 24X7 bed meeda unta ante not good.. minimum walking cheyyale even after surgery.. as the days pass more and more walking/exercise

3. BP/diabetes laativi unte yekkuva complications untaayi of course

Food -

1. Eat as much veggies as u can.. avoid red meat... meat kuda in limit

2. cut down on oil ghee butter etc etc

3. fruits tinaale shaana

4. eat small meals periodically

5. Medication valla gas problems vastaayi as side effect... make sure u avoid food which causes gas (chintapandu especially)

Life style -

1. my dad walks 5 kilometers every day... he is 64 now... unless its raining he doesnt mean his target of 5 kilometeres no matter what... chali unna sare he walks every damn day

2. he never missed his medication..

3. sleep on time... late night parties etc should be avoided

4. kopam, pagalu, anni pakkana petti be happy

One important thing is after surgery koncham impatient ayitharu.. they get angry just like that... adi tagginchukovaale...

God Bless!

one of my friends got it done... spent about 4 weeks at home, and then started working....

regular walking is very important... along with medications...

do not worry, science around bypass surgery has improved greatly.... i know a guy, who runs marathons, and he has 7 stents ... from 3 different bypass surgeries... infact after bypass, most folks are healthier than their peers who are their age, unless they have other existing health issues.

WFH for first 3 months is enough.......as patients feel some weakness on and off.

More they walk things get normal quickly.
Initially they get lot of sleep and get hungry but can't take enough food as they feel full after taking little quantity. Better to have 5 mini meals instead of 2 heavy meals.

Have Breakfast as early as possible before 8am.
Food supplement Resource (powder) in milk works very good

My Father got operated at age 75 3 years back in KIMS, Rajahmundry
My close Friend got prorated at age 45 recently in Apollo, Hyderabad

My father recovered very well within 4 months as he doesn't have BP, Sugar
My Friend resumed to duties after 3 months but still struggling with short breathe as the Lungs function is affected due to Asthma attack during operation.

Otherwise 80% won't have any problems post By-Pass.......Walking post surgery and Pranayamam is the best thing to practice after 3 months

Salt intake should be controlled.
