Hadoop irrelevant aina .... to work on hadoop or BIg D , you need to know a lot of technologies. Eventually that helps . you should be good in linux , db , distributed computing, jvm tuning , shell scripting , dockers , cloud etc ... inkemi kavalai... but expensive certifications though. CDH gatti ga prepare aithe HDP easy.. HDP naku easy anipinchidi ... CDH covers wide variety of topics ...includeing httpfs , flume , sqoop , oozie .Not jsut setup and isntall. configuring whole process for flume . you need ot prepare and practice . I am into hadoop for 1.5 yeras...ippudu rasa ..pedda great emi kadulu ... But exam is exam. ..tension vachhestundi ... konni sarlu telisinavi kuda OC tho mistake chestam..and costs 300 dollros to write it agian... That a big amout,.. sorry , i did not mention clearly . That was about the exam. In the exam , the Virtual machine has only clouderea access. No google. access. And you know , the documentation is not that helpfiul. ANy wasy there will be 10 problems and you have to pass 7. How did i prepare. ? I am a CDH admin. But i still have to pre pare a lot . CDH is mu ch tougher than HDP. HDP was much easier for me though i dit n't work on it. CDH covers flume , sqoop and ooozie etc. They dont' mention this in the sysllabus. you have practice each scenario that they mention in the sysllabus.
