Similar incident.. missed court date too So was asked to go to district attorney A counter lo lady ki cheppa sadly it was a bad day.. this was in very slow moving traffic ani She said show me proof that you paid for the other car damages ani, called insurance and they sent an email to me saying they paid for other cars damages.. showed the email to that lady She dismissed the case - no fine, no points Lucky day.. otherwise it was $280 fine on the ticket cop gave for reckless driving | ||

Goti tho poye yevvaram goddaliki techukunnav thammi. Its a rear end. always back car driver is at fault unless and otherwise there is a STRONG proof of the driver in front had a mistake(DUI etc). But benefit of doubt NEVER gets to the driver on the back. Also you pulled the issue to the contesting. Now if you are found guilty, you will get penalty(bit high end price) and a point on your DMV record. But if you didnt contest you might have ended up in taking online traffic school(since you dint have a ticket for last 3+ years) and moderate penalty. Now in the court, if you found guilty, request the Judge lenience in penalty and the traffic school option(to get out of the DMV ticket). I dont recommend any attempt to lie before judge since, if you are caught, you would regret for the next 5 years on your insurance premium. (BTW, this is my first hand experience over a decade ago) | ||

Go to court and ask for a new date. Then talk with insurance and get the letter submit the same to disposition clerk and teh ticket will be removed. so u need not pay for ticket then Ticket is given to fix the repsonisbilty of paying on u. since the insurance paid the claim u will get insurance pts. okka thappu ki okkate siksha. so they will remove the ticket No Signature | ||
