Hurricane Sandy in 2012 in NJ appudu, Plainsboro lo sachhaa.. 5 days no power, no heater, food in fridge stocked-up everything went waste. Forget Keys :-) They are Low lying small islands - harldy a few mtrs above sea level. Miami and Fort lauderdale lo evacs are ordered for those close to the beach. But we will not know the exact path. Yesterday evening, the hurricane went 50 miles north of San Juan,PR - and while it was bad, it was not as if the storm hit them. Currently as per the American model forecast, winds in excess of 100mph (at an altitude of 500 mtrs) are expected along the coast on Sat night / Sun morning. As per the European model, the wind speeds at the same time, same place are lesser. So wait until the end of the day:-) | ||
