No one can re-invent anything new. All these people do is to package the existing in new wrapper and sell it ani naa gatti nammakam. For me selling something which one experienced need not be same for everyone and it is also not the Yoga by itself. Yoga(m) is huge compared to the minute IE or art of living or some other form. We are stuck to something small by practicing small drop of it and are limited to experiences caused by just a drop where Yoga is an ocean. And in this modern age, there is no teacher who understands Yoga better. So the problem with limitation becoming the master itself. Thats where these people even though they sell as a product will not work for everyone as similar to there is no streamlined path to destination - ani naa feeling again. I don't know about why others go but can give you my story. I stumbled upon his videos 2 yrs back. I liked his reasoning/logic initially. (there is no good or bad but history is written by the victor, so you only see that as good, don't overthink-just experience life, you need to know what you know and what you don't know) He mixed old with the new very well ani felted. But later videos lo he used to circumvent the question to which he didn't have logical answer. Other observations 1. It's probably like any other yoga product except Jaggi sir is very good at marketing. Program antha edho element of surprise undaali annattu run chesaru. avasarledhu anipinchindhi. 2. There was no back and forth dialogue during the entire program. Teacher ni questions adigithe meet during breaks ani chepparu. volunteers were correcting the poses but very calmly. It was forced calmness which I felt is a way to even supress questions ani felted. 3. first 3 days small photo of Jaggi vasudev was placed but last it was switched to a really big picture, to be prepared for the saashtanga namaskaaram. In one video I watched before, JV says don't look down on anyone , don't look upto anyone. The irony couldn't get any better anipinchindhi. 4. Session teacher adige rhetorical questions were more designed to say "Yes". This is one of the hallmark of marketing events. Group level lo emina adigithe aahaa ohoo anee chebutharu due to fear of not be the guy to stand out. Borderline suvartha sabhalu kuda ilaage undochu, may not be at that level of crassness but model is the same. They repeat the same story multiple times, multiple places and multiple channels to give authenticity to the person anipinchindhi. 5. I didn't really spot analyse. I decided to be in the flow of the program pretty much and think later but at the end when people started bowing to the portrait, all the analysis above started to creep in. 6. It's better to cut all the crap in between, teach yoga, answer questions and teach even more. Let the art flourish. No need of all the elements of hype. | ||

I have watched a lot of videos of sadhguru for the past 2 yrs. The way he connects ancient stuff with modern thought is amazing anipinchedhi.I wanted to do the inner engineering program since I started watching videos. But kids tho kudaraka cheyaledhu. Luckily ee year I was able to attend along with my wife. Wifey ki telavakunda iddariki book chesa. Day 2: conscious ga undandi, observe and feel responsible for everything ani chepparu. just feel responsible, don't need to worry about ability to act anedhi concept. all through that I had so many questions but teacher didn't encourage any. if we feel responsible we won't act bad towards anyone anedhi concept. But the moment we feel responsible we long to act to correct the situation. it's a catch 22 situation anipinchindhi. upayoga cheyincharu. felt good with the poses. we had to just watch videos of someone doing it and repeat with guidance of teacher. night dismissal mundhu homework icharu. responsiblity, worse moment in life, good moment in life etc gurinchi raayamani. Day 3:started with upayoga. and videos from sadhguru. he kindaled other gurus who say no to desire etc. lunch mundhu taught some asanas from videos. after lunch video lecture by sadhguru on foods to eat. spirituality lo don't use logic etc etc. Teacher was using the same jokes/words of sadhguru in between the videos. at no time, questions were entertained. they used rudraksha to decide pranic/non-pranic foods. back lo sale stall with rudrakshas unnayi. did more asanas later in the evening. intikelle mundhu sadhguru book okati icharu free ga. Day 4: started with outdoor games. had good fun. then did more intro asanas for sambhavi. then I think we did one full sambhavi some time after or before lunch. Janaalu chepinattu emi anipinchaledhu. nenu licked aa anukunnaa. in between more videos on sadhguru projects, causes, donate please etc. later in the day did one more sambhavi. Then comes the end. Since sadhguru cannot be here and he wants to give somethign to you, so he gives this rose ani cheppi teahcer kneeled before sadhguru and andaru vangi, namaskaram chesi rose thesunnam. My rating 1/5. Food 5/5 Volunteers ki 5/5, they worked a lot. Bottomline : I had some minor doubts on sadhguru from his videos. most times he laughs with a smirk ( ori agnaaani annattu). used to think a real realized being won't do that. Ee class tho i stopped putting him on a high pedastal. for the amount of money you pay, you don;t even get to see and learn from a teacher who does the yoga infron of you. There is a big difference in learning from video vs seeing and learning. I don't need any more advertisement after paying a good amount, just want to learn well. Last but not least, rose iche concept was to kinda make you bow to a picture, (in person bow cheyatam veru, i love bowing to my teachers) but when you bow to a picture , it;s a first step to giving god status to the person anipinchindhi. infact no one bowed to the actual teacher who led the program - which shows how much impact the teacher had. PS: This is not to hurt other believers or followers. Please be a skeptic and don't turn a cult. Going in I was a big fan of him and felt like I was gutted at the end of it. But glad that it is off my list. | ||
