I agree .. that's the popular belief. But the I hear the grinder they use usually is the cause. My friend did this same mistake .. and when the kid was not doing good (during the lead episode), they gave more turmeric ... which increasedthe lead levels in the further testing. The healthcare workers tested everything in their house .. all spices and material .. and turmeric was the only one which had 10 times the levels permitter. | ||

They brought from a trusted home turmeric maker from India ... but still had 10 times more lead than permitted. But I heard some brands of turmeric that's sold in Indian stores also has high levels. May be we need to go to trusted brands .. whatver they are. | ||

maa kid unde...but very negligble like 6.5 or so...when i take second opinion they mentioned asin kids little bit above is normal. but in you case it seems very high...anything above 14 in california is very high u r county helth dept would need to inlvolve to find lead source in your house...inform it to county health dept they will check for the source in your house if it above lead level is above 14. usually below is the source if you stay older apt prior 1978.. and if not renovated recently u have to move immediately. if renovated i think it should be ok -- doctor told me use made in america toys/food material/ kitchenware at least until kid is 6 yrs or older....they told me made in usa has to fallow some FDA guidelines on lead levels. also dont buy doller store cheap made in chinkus....they use heavily use lead ..which they cannot able to detect normally -- mop u r floor and toys more often....if u made in chinkus cheap toys or doller store stuff...its time to throw it away. -- keen an eye on u r kids what touching esp metals ask them to clean thier hands regularly. | ||

Did any of you have this issue with your kids? we were totally surprised from the results of their regular 3 yr/ 1 yr checkup yesterday.....doctor ordered a lead test on them and their results were very bad..normal 5 micrograms aite, son ki 17.8 micrograms undi and daughter ki 10 undi.. online chuste effects horrible ga unnai! like irreversible brain damage etc etc  |
