It will cost 15 lakhs and probably up to 20 lakhs in reputed colleges. Reputation is something subjective. Most parents end up coughing up so much money without realizing that their children (on average) might end up with TCL or Infosys kind of salary, which takes years to breakeven. | ||

When I studied, there are 3 kinds of seats in private engineering colleges. Free seat: same fee as it would cost in government/university college Paid seat: constant across all colleges, 26,500 Rs. NRI/management seats: varies Now free seats are not available in private engineering colleges. All are paid seats only. If secured through Eamcet counselling, it would cost anywhere between 75,000-150,000 in different colleges. Each college fee is published before counselling. Some private colleges (such as SRM) would cost upward 20 lakhs to complete the course. | ||
