Although I agree that organ or body donation are Noble acts, most people overlooking rituals after the death do not entertain or take such decisions owing to cultural issues, peer pressure (relatives) and simply be done with the process. Anyone who does it most likely falls into a specific category where death is untimely and possibly young lives. I hardly see if anyone is motivated to do that including those whose children are doctors. | ||

Organ donation is possibly not something that works with every death. The person must be reasonably healthy and brain death for such donation. You may be referring to cadevar donation for medical students. Actually the medical students in many Indian schools do not have access to cadevars and that sometimes they make do with 3D objects. IN my opinion, cremation results in perfect closure with nothing left behind once ashes are disposed. Whereas a tomb or burial ground leaves a memory landmark where family members might visit once every year during festive times/anniversary etc. | ||
