yeah.. independent woman falling for tapori... & millionaire wanting to make him son in law is tough to digest.. this movie is not hit, because of story line or exceptional taking etc... its hit, because director was able to bring some real life moments into a simple and routine story. exceptional performances from cast is major plus. infact, any romcom ki ilanti talk and opinion common. Chala average cinema kadha, idhi pedda hit ela ayyindi. Yemo le, ee madya ye cinema hit avuddho ardham ayi savatledu. I had a fundamental disconnect with the hero character, how can an independent, courageous, hard working woman fall in love with a no-gooder who wants to marry for money. Despite showing the worst qualities even when temporarily employed with the heroine, the girl keeps going for him, professionally and personally. This is on par with the photo of Kriti Sanon grovelling behind Mahesh in the No.1 poster. Under the facade of the independent woman, the director recycled a lot of familiar male fantasy tropes. Once you feel disconnected with the characters, you lose interest in the rest of the plot and start condescending to the movie. First half had some funny moments, as long as the main protagonists were in the room. Room bayitaki vochcha it descended into a Band Baaja Baaraat inspired movie. |
