50 years ago around when I was born, my mom switched completely to sleeveless blouses cos dad always liked sleeveless..she only wore sleeveless till Dad retired - we visited temples and teerthas across the country, ashramas , spiritual lectures , visited great Gurus like Sri Chinmayananda , Sri Dayananda, and many more .. no on stopped her from entering a temple or said to her it's not apt to wear sleeveless in a religious place

You have an opinion , I have a different one ... If you feel strongly get the temple to publish those dress codes ... else people will wear what they deem acceptable and they are within their rights to do so !
My boys live in shorts , and I have not forced them to wear something different for a temple visit and will not unless the temple dresscode mandates it ! Many a time I go to the temple straight from work in the casual wear that is my work dresscode Meeku track suit lo temple apacharam avvochu naaku simply heeding a call to go to the temple? What I am wearing is completely immaterial it is all on what you believe..
So yes - you have a right to feel chiraku / indignant when you see such examples and on the other hand others have the equal right to feel that the indignation is superfluous

Agree with you that a temple has to display the rules for anyone to follow if they want to enter it, otherwise it is upto the individual how to enter and how to pray. Some people might like it and some don't.

me - why any stiched clothes are restricted
tatayya - stiching is brought to our country by persians, also stiched cloth is not permissible under "Madi" rules
Me - what are those rules?
Tatayya - Anything that can be cleansed easily and removes impurity.
Me - Why not stiched clothes can be cleansed.
