The announcement made by senior actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna that he would make a film on his father legendary actor and former chief minister N T Rama Rao has triggered an interesting debate in the media. While there is no doubt that NTR would be the protagonist of the film which would be played by Balakrishna himself, the question is who the villain in the story would be. It is rather a tricky question. Everybody knows that the real turning point in the story of NTR, if it is made into a film, was his political entry, his ups and downs, his revolutionary decisions, his second marriage and finally, his fall. So, definitely there is a villain the story of NTR. If one considers that his fall had started with the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi into his life, then she would be the villain. But, if the conspiracy hatched by TDP president and present chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to dethrone NTR is taken into consideration, then Naidu should be shown as villain. Definitely, Balakrishna would not dare project Naidu as villain, because of he was part of the conspiracy to pull down his own father. So, he might project Lakshmi Parvathi in the negative shade. Already, TDP MLA and loud-mouth leader Bonda Uma commented that it was only after Lakshmi Parvathi entered NTR’s life did the troubles started. “So, she is the villain in Balayya story,” he said. Lakshmi Parvathi has threatened that she would move the court, if her character is portrayed in a negative manner.
