Sorry to hear your incident. I too was recently given an act of aggression walking in a very liberal town in California which makes San Francisco look like a conservative place. The gist is I was walking, stopped over for a car to go through, he was waiting for me, and kind of showed his hands in an aggressive manner, as if to say, "Move the f on". I didn't, he left When I thought about it, it was nothing more than a road rage incident. In your case, that guy didn't use any racial tones, just got irritated that he's hearing politics in the gym. More over, he treated you like one of their own | ||

-------- details pls. -------- Expected that someone will ask :-) Anyway, recently when I went to Gym (Unfortunately goes only once a week for 30 min session with the trainer SAD!), I was having a conversation with the trainer (BTW, a white guy) about the Trump saving the jobs at Carrier, all of a sudden, some old guy who was exercising little bit away from us, tells us "SHUT UP, I am sick of the political conversations, I don't come here to listen to this crap". I am not sure whether he was not happy that we were criticizing Trump in our conversation or generally sick of politics. But, he has no RIGHT to interfere in someone else's conversation and talk like that. However, my trainer gave him earful (I regret not responding to him as I was slow in realizing that, the guy was addressing us, by the time I realized, my trainer was already arguing with him). However, I formally filed a complaint with the Gym management through email. | ||
