I have done some more analysis and I think I know where the problem is. The hop from my ISP to Chalanachithram is taking a long time for reasons unknown. My laptop times out the request at that point and refuses to go forward. On the same network, my mobile browser does not let it time out and successfully hops further. Traceroute is exactly the same on both my laptop and the mobile till this point. There's nothing I can do at this point except wait for that hop to get corrected. It is an ISP issue. | ||

check if your ip address shows up the same when accessing through ip on all the devices http://www.whatsmyip.org/ will show this maybe laptop is going through a proxy that is banned? | ||

Browsers don't decide the route, they all go through wifi and the dns settings that you set in the router. What OS are you running on your laptop? Can you get this command output for me for the following test cases Launch command prompt and run "tracert chalanchitram.com" if you are on windows, "traceroute chalanachitram.com" if you are on linux or mac 1. Connected to my home wifi - Chrome, IE or Edge - can't access the DB 2. Connected to my home wifi - Chrome on my Android phone - able to access the DB 3. Connected to my home wifi and mobile data explicitly turned off - able to access the DB from my Android phone. 4. Connected to my Android phone hotspot - Able to access the DB from my laptop. | ||

I think the answer is here. your regular wifi didn't go through as ip got blocked. Chrome and Android Mobile browser goes through google and ip was changed there to google anukunta | ||

Same thing happening to me..able to access via mobile data but not over home wifi....did everything mentioned below...but of no help....emailed goonda bedar also...I not. For reasons unknown at this point in time, my laptop refuses to connect to Chalanachithram.com website. Here is the situation. 1. Connected to my home wifi - Chrome, IE or Edge - can't access the DB 2. Connected to my home wifi - Chrome on my Android phone - able to access the DB 3. Connected to my home wifi and mobile data explicitly turned off - able to access the DB from my Android phone. 4. Connected to my Android phone hotspot - Able to access the DB from my laptop. So this is what I have tried so far 1. Flushed the DNS on my laptop 2. Changed the DNS to Google DNS 3. Purged all history and other cookies. 4. Restarted the laptop. 5. Restarted the modem. Still can't access the DB from laptop connected to home wifi. But can access via mobile hotspot or from mobile via home internet. What could be the reason?? |
