He is a Liar , he himself told to a newspaper interview couple of days back that they thought about this when he was FM , but the reward is not very great ( which means there is some merit even according to him) now he is saying he would have killed this idea if it was on his table and calling it stupid. Giving example of ex RBI Governer Rajans statement of gains are so less , he wants to belittle the gains but the results depends on how Modi Govt implement tightening steps afte Dec 30. I agree with him about the impact estimation, even Modi Govt is taking reactive steps no proactive steps in place like tighetening of GOld sales and other smaller things of ATM caliberation. His point on balance of supply of currency is bullshit , he says if 1-2 laksh crores are not returned that creates imbalance because RBI is not going to re-issue that amout into the market , why would it create imbalance when this currency was lying in bunker all these days and not in use anyways.
