Make sure in case of single leg squat
If ur left leg on floor the right leg should never
Towards left did it's always pointing towards right side only
And should never touch floor at all

Vice versa

Even while doing burpees or jump squat land on the floor
With friont portion of foot

One more suggestion is to get your knee back strengthen
and rocking thighs calves. The very best exercise is single leg squat

Start with help of chair
Once get used it with chair
Take help of wall take min to enough support from wall
Stand on one leg do squat

Search in YouTube with the name pistol squat or single leg squat

It's tough initially but the more you practice your legs would be rocking :-)
I do this at all places

Me right now able to do weighted single leg squats of course still taking no help of bench
But without much difficulty and very easily. I see big change my thigh perimeter changed
Very much :-)

Based on you first post there might be possibility
That you might be leaning forward
Don't do that I would say this lower part of leg
I.e from knee to ankle try to maximum perpendicular
To floor. For that you have to move your hips
Back enough so that you can have very good balance
And always remember keep back straight and heads up
Core tight as well

First practice this without weights once you get used to it
Then start adding welights

I am thinking its probably due to all the jumping involved with burpees, jacks, hopping squats, etc.



this takes a lot of toll on the knees
one saying is do not do plyometrics until u can squat at least your body wt...just a saying

I think my form is OK, have been doing these routines for quite sometime. But I will ensure that feet are open at an angle. I am thinking its probably due to all the jumping involved with burpees, jacks, hopping squats, etc. I do total body workout 2-3 times a week. May be I should switch to Chest-Tri, Back-Bi and legs-shoulder routine for a month or so.

If you are using smith machine then for sure you are doing it wrong. Make sure you project knee outside. tough to explain but most of the people who know smith machine explain this.

I never do smith machine as regular squat. I used to do regular squat until my highest limit and move to smith machine to do more than my limit...

But i suggest you to do normal squat with your body weight. keep your body and head straight.. look straight. Try to do with lesss comfortable weight so that you get used to good form

ease up on frequency of activity
i think u are using smith machine for squats...sometimes it screws up form

try doing basic prisoner squats ( you can add wt with a small barbell behind your neck) ...knees going out , feet pointing out 30 degrees out

lunges lo kooda baanay intense untaayi...u r the best judge

looks your form need some changes. if you have some pain in the knee better rest for some time and start with good form

either go online and watch some videos or if you go to gym , talk some seniors or trainers.

muscle, joint?

i did not workout for past 6 months ...india trip, puppy etc.
1 month back restart chesaanu...with little to no wts
after one week, was feeling as if a bone is going protrude out of my knee when climbing stairs
took it easy for a week and now adding wts progressively

btw, I am not into cardio like u
u seem to be giving enough work for your legs(knees) already
