Sorry - none of my points had any relevance with what you said. You may say the prices go up in the short term...but what's short term? Last 5 years, the premiums were going up drastically. Benefits coming down more drastically. So are you saying that I should simply feel the pinch and not say anything? There are tons of people like me. Who are feeling this pain....this is hitting everyone's paycheck and everyone's bank balance directly. My contention is this: What's the root cause? What did he address? Did he do anything to bring down the absorbiantly high healthcare costs? A simple C-section delivery for a baby gets you a bill of 85K USD? If you're lucky and your OOP is lower, you would pay low. But these are going up drastically. I know people who paid upwards of 8K for OOP/Deductibles, etc. Does this so called "ACA" identify the root cause? Instead of simply redistributing the expenses - while the costs sprial? | ||

In india there is no laternative. Actually i was speaking to some friends. there was growing concern among middle and upper middle class in india about govt reckless spending. It will take some more years before people raise it up in a way that impact polls. in USA, we already have alternatives and discussions going on. so we pick reps here. As i told many times, whatever i do personally i expect the govt to do same with my money. If i have 10K net pay, I amke sure that my expenses are not over that. If i have to cit something, i will cut. I wont borrow 2K every month to meet my expenses even there is no chance of me making that extra 2K in near future. why should i allow govt to do the same? obama in an innocent voice says i did not do anything new. i am only carrying existing programs. . if your income does not meet the expenses, you cut down existing only.
