Yes. I don't think VA is in play. But still be very close there 2%-3% margin win. Lots of washington establishment liberals etc. live there now and gov. is democrat and also VP is from there. Apparently Obamas' #2 choice was this Tim Kaine uncle. So understandable why Hillary took him. If she gets VA. All she has to do is win one of Ohio or Florida or any red sate like Georgia, Arizona or NC etc. and she is in. That was their strategy all along. Republicans ki chala tough aipothundhi these days. CA, NY, IL etc. are high delegate states and other than TX there is no other high delegate state for reps. So if a Florida, OH etc. becomes like VA - lean democrat it is over for republican party for presidential elections for another 16 years at least. The whole system is messed up when Hillary starts off with 236 guaranteed and Trump at like 206 guaranteed. Last election too was the same thing. This edge makes it very hard for reps to win. They have to win 3 out of 4 states while Dems have to win only 1 out of 3. US elections are very easy predict unlike other countries. Go by the voting blocks. 69% of electorate is made with whites and 31% is all others. 70% of 69% vote republican ( even of alsatian dog is their candidate). ie. 48% of 100% R and 20% to D 98%% of Remaining 31% vote for democrats ( Even if alsatian dog is their candidate) ie. Approx 32% D and 1% R SO over all democrats get 52% and R gets 49%. The only way Repub candidate can win national polls is to get close to 9% of minority votes(9% of 31%). This is Next to impossible for trump. | ||

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 7 points in Pennsylvania, which is down a bit from the double-digit lead she enjoyed immediately after the Democratic National Convention in July, according to a Franklin & Marshall poll released Thursday. Mrs. Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, had a 7-point, 47 percent to 40 percent, lead over Mr. Trump among likely voters in the poll, which is down from the 11-point, 49 percent to 38 percent, lead she had in a Franklin & Marshall survey taken right after the Democrats’ convention. | ||

“A new Virginia poll conducted by Emerson College finds Hillary Clinton just one point ahead of Donald Trump, 44% to 43%, with Libertarian Gary Johnson taking 11% and the Green Party’s Jill Stein at 3%. The poll of 800 likely voters was August 30- September 1. In Iowa, a new poll finds Trump leading 44% to 39% with Johnson at 8% and Stein at 1%. Eight percent (8%) were undecided. In the US Senate race, Senator Chuck Grassley leads Patty Judge 51% to 40% with 6% undecided. This poll of 600 likely voters was conducted from August 31- September 1.” |
