I have read some of his books...and found them good,nothing particularly jarring I don't try to analyze these writers/teachers only the writings and how those writings resonate with, add to or negate elements of my current belief set thus helping me refine that! It is a very self centered approach  so I may not help you understand Osho! But I will say - read more ..While we may not believe everything they preach , I have found things of value from a spectrum of writers - from atheists to theists , from spiritualists to ritualists ...Reading a variety gives me more options when I am mulling over something... every philosophy is true to the only extent that the preacher and the follower/listener honestly understands/feels/believes in it. it is like .. there is are aspects about reality(universe/life/society) that are understood by or manifested to different people differently. the thing is most of the time we kind of know deep down what the truth is... but our ego/extended ego( in the form of our affiliations) suppresses it. given honest subjectivity and dishonest objectivity of the human psych .. and even otherwise... the only way the truth of any philosophy can only be validated with the predictive value of it.. that too as long as you honestly observe and interpret it. | ||
