Yes. I would suggest to go and see the models in person. At least 10-15 models of different sizes are available. Some models come with gods engraving, these are hand made. You may have a preference, but seeing in person helps alot. We picked the one with Ganesha engraving. Select the one that best suits to your home. If you tell them for US, they will pack it. Add some more protection to it to avoid any damage in the transit. | ||

1) Husband/yajamani has to do (MUST) daily pooja. sankalpam lo dharma patni sametasya ane untundi including saha kutumbanam. so result goes to entire family. again any punya earned only 50% to yajamani. rest 50% to wife automatically. Results (good things) are covered for entire family. 2) when kid is old enough (if has upanayana samskaram) has to do his own. 3) anything done by gruhini/wife the entire punya goes to her only. phalitam family ki ravachchu. but punyam only to her.. no sharing. before making/ordering pooja mandirams please check with your elders (for kulaacharam and kula daivam) and some known persons about the setting up of murtys in the mandiram. kula daivam ni simhasanam lo petti poojainchali (mandiram lo). kavalante ista daivam ni pakka pettukovachchu, mandiram lo (not on simhasanam). on top of based on the kula daivam there will be a panchayatanam. One should put the murtys in simhasanam accordingly. keeping up photos in mandirams might be OK, but Sastram lo unna veda proktamaina demullane simhasanam lo pettadam manchidi. As per Sri Sankaracharya we have six such Surya, Subrahmanya, Ganapati, Sakti, Siva and Vishnu. We got the rosewood one from Kaveri emporium in bangalore.. Hyd lepakshi is also good. As Moviebuff said they disassemble it and pack it for you. It took 2 big suitcases for us. | ||
