Narendra Modi's address to US Congress showed India's might: Mohan Bhagwat NAGPUR: RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat today lauded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his speech before the US Congress. "Our Prime Minister delivered a brilliant speech before the US Congress yesterday, displaying the might of India to the world's most powerful nation, USA. "His speech reflected that now India has emerged as a superpower and the whole world needs India's support," Bhagwat said, addressing the valedictory function of the third year training camp of the RSS which concluded here this evening. The world had now recognised and realised the power and need for India, he added. Bhagwat also called for unity among the people irrespective of living style, eating habits, languages, caste and creed. "India stands for one nation with vast cultural and religious diversities," he said. The RSS chief also evoked Dr BR Ambedkar's thoughts on nationalism and integrity on this occasion. Saying that RSS had been inculcating patriotism among the people for the last 90 years, he asked those who are not part of RSS to come and see how nationalism is taught at the RSS camps. Foreign invaders could enter the country centuries ago only due to the cracks within our system and the help of our own men who surrendered to them, he said, stressing the importance of integrity and unity. Recalling the 'Aryans versus Dravidians' issue in the early years of independence, Bhagwat said nevertheless, when China attacked India in 1962, Tamil leader C N Annadurai strongly came out in support of the country, saying the attack was not only on the North India but also on Tamil Nadu. This kind of nationalism was needed now, he said. nikkers should be concern abt AP first Dear KTR, Minister of IT, Telangana State, India, Of late, Iâve seen you deliver some lovely speeches; like the wonderful one you delivered when Tim Cook, Apple CEO visited Hyderabad and today I saw another one you delivered at TIE conference in Silicon Valley. I love the way you deliver those speeches. But, in every speech; you refer to Telangana as âThe Youngest State of Indiaâ and this statement of yours makes me think and gives rise to a lot of questions⦠If Telangana is really the âYoungest Stateâ and the new born state, then How does it have a Mega Capital ready and operating from day 1? How does the new state has a Metro-project ready to be launched? How does it have Microsoft, Google and the IT eco-system in which other tech giants are ready to jump in? How does it have the world class ISB, IIIT, IIT Hyderabad producing great talents? How does it have one of the best Airports in the country and amazing road connectivity? How does it have Surplus, well indeed excess budget ? Last but definitely not the least, how does the âyoungest stateâ have a mega cyber city fully functioning and generating thousands of crores of taxes for your party to spend on advertising ? None of these qualities seem to be that of a âNew Born Stateâ or âYoungest State of Indiaâ and something is definitely wrong here. Iâll tell you what actually is the youngest state in the country is; a state that the country itself is not ready to help. The worst part of the entire scenario is, the Prime Minister of the country himself is not ready to help the state; only to see the chances of his political party grow in the state. Mr. KTR, that state is Andhra Pradesh and I have a few more questions; whose answers will perhaps enlighten you as to why Andhra Pradesh is the youngest state in the country. Why do I have a feeling that Andhra Pradesh is the youngest state that the country has to take care of like a budding plant until it is strong and firm and independent? Why do I have a feeling that the fact that Andhra Pradesh doesnât have a capital to function from, makes it the youngest state? Why do I have a feeling that Andhra Pradesh, whose employees arenât ready to move to its capital for the lack of facilities and its CM is sleeping in bus and operating from a temporary building is the new state ? Why do I have a feeling that a state trying hard to build the IIT, IIM and other institutes, for which the funds given by the Government of India for these very institutes wonât even cover the building of boundary walls of the institutes, is the newborn state? Why do I have a feeling that the state without IT sector, Industries and a state that is in a Budget Crisis every quarter is the new state? Why do I have a feeling that the state that was deceived by the Govt of India and is struggling to build everything from scratch with the help of Countries around the world while the very own Country is stuck accessing Political Advantages is the âYoungest Stateâ? My anger is on those claiming the Youngest state tag and the contradictory richness. My anger is on the Country and its Citizens ignoring the Newborn state and left it to one hard working person with no support within the Country. My anger is on the Country and its Citizens who are constantly ignoring the state and left the entire burden of making the state a success on the shoulders of one hardworking man with no support from the Country. Proud of you Modi ji .. From where to where? Born in a very poor backward family. Not much formal education in schools. Wanted to become an ascetic at 17! Went to Ramakrishna Matt and found that his calling is serving the nation and became a full time RSS Swayamsewak, completing his graduation in Political Science, to choosing BJP as his vehicle for public service. After 2002, Modi was hounded by all, but more importantly by very powerful sections of US administration for more than a decade. The hounding was the most unjust and irresponsible. Any other man with a small heart would not have forgiven that country for what they did. But after overcoming all opposition and becoming PM, he did not let the bad blood come in the way and worked his way with grace all through to be able to address the highest democratic body of the very same country which tried to stop him in his tracks!!
