Platypus:KV movies - okate genre. Avi daati aayana eppudu poledhu. Aa genre nacche vaallaki aayana devudu. Adhi ekkani vaallaki aayana just a good director (one among many) anthe.
I also feel that KV post KVM could not do much. His later movies were torture.
But Shankarabharanam, Sagarasangamam were amazing indeed. I would give more credit to KVM for the former and KVM+KH for the latter.
K Vishwanth did not start his career with Shankarabharanam.. it was his most acclaimed movie..which led him to do series of music/art oriented movies..may be thats why they brand his films ..
But in reality..KV started his career as a director good 16 years before Shankarabharanam.. his first movie was Atma Gouravam with ANR..which had received Luke warm response..but was awarded with Nandi...his next films like Undamma Bottu Pedatha..and some films were moderate hits to averages..
His first big hit was "Chellali Kaapuram"...remember that black Sobhan Babu film...followed by Kalam Maarindi..Neramu Siksha..super star Krishna's big hit then...
Shaarada where herione is village belle who marries a doctor.. but after his death becomes mental patient..Jeevana Jyothi where vani sri acts as a patient in mental asylum...
His O Seetha Kadha..is a Master piece.. where a girl marries father of villain who killed her husband..
Siri siri muvva was his first film based on classical arts..where dumb heroine is a dancer..
Followed by Seeta Mahalakshmi.. a movie about ordinary girl to heroine and
all big hits based on social and feminist idealogies.. its unfortunate to him to particular genre of cinema..
And then came Shankara bharanam...Even after shankarabharanam he did movies like Swatimuthyam, Subhalekha, Swayamkrushi, Aapadbhandavudu and Subhasankalpam which are not related to arts but about social inequalities and customs..
His partnership with KVM was great and it continued for many movies...but he equally succeeded with Ilayaraja[Sagara Sangamam, Swathi Muthyam, Swarna Kamalam] and Keervani[Apadbhandavudu and Chinnabbayi]..and Ramesh Naidu for Swayam Krushi in getting good music..this shows his capability of getting good music from any music director not only KVM..
As a director getting best work from techinicians is his hallmark quality..
Well music is a part of movie.. his movies had good music...but even better drama and relationships. that is one of the reason I think shankarabharanam as greatest movie ever made in telugu ..
His last movie with KV mahadevan is Swati kiranam... later he did only 4 movies.. Chinnabbayi ,Subha sankalpam..which is a very good movie..
swarabhishekham and subhapradam are done at whe he is senile and lost his prime so wont count it ..
Branding that he makes only "similar genre" movies is injustice to genius K Vishwanth.. who writes..Story and Screenplay for his movies which are far more important for success of a movie than music |

Mantras ki Vedas ki sambhandam ledu...
a particular line is called mantra if it has bhijakshara.. unfortunately common man uses the word mantralu chaduvutaaru..instead of slokas..and sukthas..and it became a standard..
{but arent they taken out of vedas . i think each veda paatashaala will teach the vedas in their own way. inka gattiga cheppali ante depends upon the teacher you get there. there is no hard rule that this one has to be read or pronounced in this way (talking from syllable perspective. not trying to argue why ma should be claled ma and not na before mav unkel asks this )}
There are strict rules how to recite veda... there wont be any difference in teaching...You are asking why I should pronounce only that way.. by quoting a " Twinkle Twinkle little star" ...should I understand are you trying to do leg pulling...then leave it..live in your own world..

Temple priest need not go to veda paathasala...all a temple priest needs to do is recite pancha suktas.. sahasranama and some other obligations related to diety...

and Budugu..this is a short classification of brahmins...which I wrote in another thread..by this classification you can understand what are Vedas,,,
As a fan of sociology...there is a classification among brahmins ..which has nothing to do with shakas... it is divided into 9 types.. I have read in a good sociology book..looked now in net whether I could get a link or something..but I couldn't suceed..I will reproduce something I read 5-6 years ago...naaku anta gurtu ledu aa 9 types..naaku gurtunnavi raastaa..but I will search though..
1) Vedic Scholar( These are considered highest order..even kings bow to them..
Example..Ghanapatis. Avadhanis..etc..,
2) Poets..Singers..Astrologers..Teachers of any discipline..
3) Warrior Kings..( Sungas , Kanvas Hemu are prime example )
4) Business Men.
5) Working class at kings palace.
6) Farmers.
7) Labourers( Vanta chesevaadu..Pelli cheyinchedvaadu..Uttara kriyalu chese vaaru etc..)
8) Priests in temple( Dont be surprised..they are considered lowest because..they wont have much vedic knowledge..all they had to know how to worship that diety..using Pancha suktas and sahasranamas..
9) Beggars.. |
