Obama proved to be the one of the best presidents in recent US history. Compare the conditions when he came to ruling, economy was in deep shit and free falling into abyss, hateness towards US in the world was at peak and Israel was dictating terms to US inspite of its heavy dependency on US support both monetarily and security wise. Obama first successfully stopped the free fall and slowing started bringing the economy back and stopped world's hateness towards US, made Israel realize that they can't do anything they want and still count on US support etc. Only controversial was on Healthcare front with Obama care and Egypt mess which he didn't make.
