Dubagunta is a village near Udayagiri..which was then a part of Ongole parliamentary seat. 2. Rosavva got fed up with the liquor bootham .....she could/ would not take it anymore...decided to hit the road and fight against liquor....remember Rosavva is a daily labor and she started the liquor movement (as you might have read in papers). 3. The movement spread like wild fire....and lots of people across the state also decided to hit the road and ask for liquor ban (intrestingly....the liquor bootham today is uuuuuuge and in its scariest form but no rosavva's ready to hit the road even after so much publicity in tv/ cinema halls) 4. The the opposition TDP decided to help rosavva and the likes and spear headed the movement... 5. Rest is history and TDP won with a thumping majority. A closer look at the movement..its origin throws light on some interesting facts...... 1. Udayam paper started by Dasari....got a bzz, looked like an alternative to eenadu but Dasari could not run due to lack of financial support. 2. Congress was looking to have a supporting media on the line of TDP having eenadu. 3. Liquor Baron, Magunta Subbarami reddy who is also the state treasurer for congress party purchased udayam paper and decided to take it big. 4. TDP spear headed the anti liquor movement. The liquor ban hit on his pocket....udayam never really took off. 5. Dubagunta village of Rosavva is in Ongole parliamentary constituency and magunta subba rami reddy happens to be Ongole MP. JUst a coincidence? 6. Subba rami reddy also died all of a sudden, shot down by Naxals (the intresting thing is there are many douche bags in politics and subba rami reddy was considered one of the good guys, doing something for the people, spending his own money..but naxals unhappy with him decided to kill him, a guy doing something for the people and not others?) rosavani lepalanna malli liquor ban teeseyyalanna....who did it?
