Exports are down but the profitability of exports is up, right? Isn't that a good thing? Due to decline in the prices of most major commodities (especially crude oil), selling prices of exports have reduced. Rupee is a declining currency against the US dollar since our independence. The rate of decline has slowed down after Modi took charge.
