solid wood looks better and resurfaced , putting it on concrete slab is tricky as you need to take moisture content of the slab and it needs a another layer of prep. Don't know all details , but needs extra work and more money Engineered wood can be polished and glued directly as it is cured for moisture issues , and less expensive Laminate is cheap alternative, other alternative is to consider Bamboo which might look better than laminate and almost equal to engineered wood - | ||
