avvavu. It just doesn't work. same thinking tho edison menlo park mall lo many people tried opening a store to sell samosa, bajjis, biryanis etc.. 4-5 stores changed in 5 years but no luck till date.. everyone thought it is desi hub and too many desis visiting the mall and it will be huge hit but in reality doesn't work.. most of our desis go to chipotle or thai kitchen and ignore the desi restaurant in the food court.. NYC lo bajjis or other snacks won't work because, you can't make them fresh on the street and if you make them in offsite and bring to city and sell then you will lose the quality, texture and taste etc. anyway, idi naa tokkalo opinion.. i might be wrong Don't say you don't have enough time. As many of you know chick-fill-a chain is very popular and highly profitable.. just like chipotle.. 99.99% or may be 100% of their stores make money.. some of them make ton of money Chipotle doesn't offer franchise but Chick-fill-a does offer franchise model with some interesting catches.. but it may not work out for IT guys making 150-200k but for others it may be good option with negligible investment All you need to put from your pocket is 10K USD.. you heard it right.. Even for million dollar location, you just put in 10K as franchise fee and corporate pays for entire store build out and you run the store and take salary and % split in profits They opened first couple of locations in NYC this year and it is crazy.. barbarious lines.. summer peak time lo disney world lo line kante long lines in midtown store that they opened 2-3 months ago.. met the guy who owns nyc loation yesterday at CFA convention and he was jubilant.. he is on target to make 400-500k first year with his 10K investment not every store can generate same volume as his store but even if someone makes 100-150k with 10k investment.. that it is huge right?
