Shreya goshal is definitely one of the fine singers.But in singing some raja melodies,she fails.

Janaki made it all the way.We cannot compare Susheela and Janaki with Shreya.
Atleast for now.They are way ahead in terms of sining aspects.
But in present generation my most fav singer is undoubtedly Shreya Gosahl.
But do not undermine her seniors capabilty for Shreya.Still she has a long way to go and definitely she will reach that point |

chikini chameli ki oka western + base voice ravali but it came out as a fast melody. may be thats what mani sarma meant when he said "throw".
pratee song ki oka voice texture kavali. for instance, puvvai puvvai song oka telugu singer to record cheyinchaadu thaman but he felt the westernized base was missing which is the key for a club song. so he made ramya (tamil) sing and finalized it. |
