Stay Away From Nithin, Nag's Order! Buyers of Akhil movie are terribly disappointed with the movie's performance at the ticket window. They are seeing more than sixty to seventy percent loss in almost all the areas. Overseas distributor is said have lost almost every penny invested in it. Naturally the buyers are putting pressure upon the producers to return their money. Producers Nithin and his father Sudhakar Reddy have spent a bomb on Akhilâs launch. They ran into terrible losses with the movie that they would need years to recover from this debacle. Nagarjuna who came to know about the buyers pressure upon Nithin and his family, called upon them to have a word. As per reliable sources Nagarjuna assured the buyers of Akhil to be compensated shortly. Nag promised that he would do something to bail them out of these losses. He has ordered them to stay clear off Nithin and Sudhakar Reddy as they have lost so much money in launching Akhil. âDonât disturb them anymore. I will make sure that you all could recover from the losses,â Nagarjuna said to the buyers as per sources. Akhil - The Power of Jua : A Huge Disastrous Debacle VV Vinayak`s `Akhil` has turned out to be a Huge Disaster at the Box-office. The film has left Distributors shell shocked from Day 2, with Box-office Numbers going down rapidly and crashing to new lows on Weekdays. It is especially Disastrous outside AP/Nizam. The Overseas Distributor of the flick has lost every thing he invested as the film has barely managed to recover Promotional, Logistics and other Expenses. Karnataka is another big debacle with Distributor losing 70-75% having punted with huge sums without any support from Exhibitors or the film itself. `Akhil` is a set back in AP too where few Districts are staring at 50% losses as well. There are Many Disasters in the past at Box-office but losing more than half for Distributors is very rare for Biggies. `Akhil` on the whole needed 43 Cr apx to cross the Break-even levels for Theatricals is now staring at <20 Cr Recovery from Theatricals (Telugu). This is a Huge Disaster only compares to and better than films like `Thoofan` with even recent `1 Nenokkadine` and `Rabhasa` faring much better in Recovery%. It is almost Unquestionable whether the film would have been able to deliver the goods if it is good enough in content. It certainly would have performed well in Domestic Markets at the very least. Lack of Strong Dedicated Mass Base also made things worse for the flick after receiving Poor Word of mouth. General audience have largely choose to stay away. All is not lost yet for the Young Lad `Akhil`. He shined with his Dance moves and in Action Episodes and at-least got some thing to show for himself where as the Experienced Director failed and got nothing out of this. It can only get better from here, provided he keeps trying in the same scale and effort. `Akhil` is still a Potential Star Material and should keep doing biggies without fear. | ||

Parents like their children no matter what and their all efforts put in by their little ones are special for them. While Akhil's got disaster talk, Amala Akkineni has been on various shows after the release and she says that as parents, they are very happy with the work of Akhil. She says her son has gone beyond their expectations and that his dances, his diction and dialogue delivery were actually more than what she and Nagarjuna expected. She maintains that a hero cannot be judged with just one film and adds that big heroes do around 200 films in their career before their work is judged. If losses are incurred by distributors and exhibitors on Akkineni Akhilâs debut film âAkhil,â how could it affect the business of upcoming films from dad Nagarjuna or brother Naga Chaitanya? This is no more a passable question because heat around a flop movie doesnât cool off so easily. Distributors arenât minding to surround their loss incurring projectâs hero and surmounting enormous pressure to either settle their loss accounts or forcing to sell their next movie with rebates in prices. Looks like âAkhilâ hubbub is spreading into Nagarjunaâs âSoggade Chinni Nayanaâ because Nagarjuna happens to be producer of this product. To balance âAkhilâ losses, distributors from many areas of Andhra Pradesh and few of exhibitors from Telangana are demanding for either refund of their losses or to sell âSGSâ at decent discount. Akhi Akkineni's debut film Akhil has ended up being a huge disaster and the film's producer is said to have suffered losses to the tune of Rs 18 crores. The film's producer Nithin's father Sudhakar Reddy, who happens to be a producer and distributor in Nizam area, was hoping to take the production house to the next level with Akhil. In the past, his production house, (which is run by his daughter) made two decently successful films -- Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde. Back then, he handed over the story of Manam to Nagarjuna, which became a biggest hit for Annapurna Productions. However, this planning went for a toss with the failure of Akhil which was made with a huge budget, though it was the launch of a debutant hero. So since the launch up until the movie was on the sets, distributors offered the film very high prices. However, once the movie was shot and Nagarjuna forced them to postpone the release date, distributors slashed the prices. Talk is that he will now end up with a loss of Rs 18 crores according to a distributor who also happens to be close to Sudhakar Reddy. Hero Nithin proudly took up the challenge to launch Akkineni Akhil on his banner. He got the best technicians on board and invested lot of money in the movie to make sure of a grand launch pad for Akhil. He also took a break to make sure that everything falls in place for this prestigious film. Despite his passion and dedication Akhil turned out to be a major disaster. Although Nithin's zeal is unquestionable, Akkineni fans are blaming him for the failure. They are pointing fingers at Nithinâs inexperience is one of the reasons for this debacle. An experienced producer would have sensed that the film is not going to work is what they claim. However it was Nagarjuna and Akhil who have finalized the story and Nithin has little to do with it. Akkineni fans are targeting Nithin on social platform right from the day Akhil release was postponed from Dasara to Deepavali. It is downright silly that few fans are alleging that Nithin purposefully launched Akhil with such a disastrous film. Distributors from allover have been investing huge to grab the theatrical rights for fancy offers. As per the insider's buzz, the producers have already sold the film off for a whopping 45 crores. While entire Andhra theatrical rights were grabbed for nearly 17 crores, 14 crore from Nizam and 6 more crore from Ceded took the tally to 37 crore. Further more, 4 crore from Karnataka, 0.5 crore to 1 crore from Rest of India and another 4.5 crore or 5 crore from overseas have been reportedly shelled out by the respective distributors. Topping this, satellite rights can easily be sold for anywhere close to 7-8 crores, taking the overall business close to 53 crores, a never seen before record for a debut hero's film. Interestingly, Akhil even surpassed the Akkineni family's highest ever pre-release business of 40 crores for Manam. Akhil which was opened up with $90,000 for premiere shows in USA dropped to $22,000 (one fourth) on first day Wednesday in USA. Very weak mouth talk putting away audience from theaters.
