Times hav changed brother....Juntha accept chesthe any kind of movie shall work. I dont think Fanbase alone is the deciding factor of success anymore. They shall still impact the range though. Era of the solo Macho hero relying on a particular fanbase is endin. Universally acceptable stars/content is winning each time. | ||

One more point....I think Charan's safe game/ fence sitting movies aren't working anymore. Both GAV n Bruce Lee shud be collecting more. His good run at BO despite avg movies like Raccha/Yevadu/Nayak is now almost ending. Its almost like he is running out of Chiru's goodwill powerup. I think he shud come out of his comfort zone n try somethin really different ir radical. | ||

Agree with OT's review. In fact, Chiru kosam .25 ekkuva eyyocchu. As far as the bad openings/talk goes....my view on the same. - Both RD and BL coming after the heavy hangovers that were BB and SM. RD paled in the inevitable comparison to BB and BL routine template seemed nothin special after the Greater Good plot of SM, watever its misgivings. - Ppl are officially vexed with routine templates of the Vytla genre unless there is outstanding comedy. - Seeing Prabhas n Mahesh in two back to back grand blockbusters, I think for the moment every other hero with the exception of Pawan shall pale in screen presence for the time being. Definition of No. 1 has now changed and only the above three shall be in contention for the next 5 years. For all the talent of Jr, Bunny, RCT, they simply cannot contend for No.1 anymore. Lets accept tht and move on. - Impact of changing winds within Mega camp are now obvious. In fact, looking at Charan's graph after MD, shud hav been obvious by now. Mega era is fading and its only PK's era or any other Friday big movie era. Chiru's aura has faded slightly and watever we say, this is not the opening we expect for his 150th movie. - Expectations after Vytla's great comedy movies shall haunt his every movie. It was a good era for him after Jandhyala, Relangi, EVV, Krishna Reddy and its now almost ending.r All in all, these reviews and openings are inexplicable for this content even more considering it was heavily hyped up as THE 150TH movie of Chiranjeevi. Though I still wudnt be surprised if it does 50 Cr in the long run, it still is an unexpected letdown for our expectations @ BO, fan or not. | ||

Went in with low expectations (ala Aagadu) Outline - Another Srinu Vytla template with lesser dose of comedy The Good - Charan's dances & fights, entertaining in parts, Chiru Entry The Bad - Vaitla's Comedy impact missing, generic plot, highlight characters missing Analysis: First things first.....Movie is ok....one time watchable. Definetely not bad as the talk or collections. More on tht later. Plot though vry routine is still decent to establish family relations n sentiments. Charan's dances and fights are fantastic. Grace lo younger gen lo unbeatable. The force of Vaitla's comedy impact missing. No highlight character like MS in Dookudu or Brahmi in Dhee/Ready/Baadshah. There is comedy though and some dialogues are hilarious in parts. 1st half was ok....2nd half wasn't bad as well. Surprise surprise. Chiru's entry though forced was impactful. Fan or not....He's still got it! Charan was highlighted well enough and maybe didn't want to overshadow him wth any single other character. Rakul was glamorous. Rest all were decent in an ocean of characters artists. Some good scenes weren't really carried forward and screenplay wasn't great. Movie was stylish though. All n all, thought it was ok and as good or bad as Raccha/Yevad/Nayak. Nothin great but not bad either. Rating - 3/5 |
