Very few seats in UCSD like <50 or even less. They call 2000 applicants for the interview. Need to be 2350+ SAT + 3 perfect scores in SAT-2 and 4.4+ weighted GPA + some additional skills.. Not easy. | ||

Here undergrad is whole diff ball game than Graduate pgm. may be someone can provide more details..na frd kid is attending pre-med (they call like that)..which is bio prgm..4 yrs... in UC riverside...then after you meet all requirements (base min 3+ GPA and other pre-req)..if you get thru MCAT then you will go to med school. another frd kid who into OAK edo med school..8 yrs prgm vachindi..60k per yr ananru. | ||

If the kid is very very exceptional you would get into UCSD direct med prgm but it's again top 9% invitation ani vinna. I may be wrong. Driver, if you are feeling staying in hostel in India is problem, sponsor a personal aeroplane for the kid and ask him to go to college in that flight. Sponsor for his travel and fuel. Bugatti bro We are middle class family But just my thought of suggesting to do here But as I don't know much medicine side so Looking forward for inputs My relatives trust me well based on my word And I do want do good by knowing realistic info well Before I suggest them But my gut feeling is I feel very uncomfortable Studying in hostel stay away from own family So I am too worried.
