It was a generic question as I strongly feel India is a country where 1/2 of the population (ie., Women) is suppressed. There are 1 set of rules (very favorable) for MALES and another set for FEMALES (very suppressing rules). Good that things are slowly changing in India for good as this discrimination is NOT FAIR. Sorry if you thought it was directed at you. BTW, ALL THE BEST when you move to India. It takes lot of courage to take this decision and it is a COMMENDABLE decision. | ||

I have relatives whose kids are about to get married..when i spoke to them, they simply told that you should be ready if they marry anyone from any country. the only thing we can do is make sure the environment is good. coming to the parents..they are stuck here as they are saying it's too late now. when the kids are young, there will be no issues. once the kids starts growing here..then i think you will see what i am saying. we cam here in 2000's and kids are in schooling age...so,now all is well.. we will see.. | ||
