Kids ki 3 years/ until they can speak , Mom or Grand parents care is must.. I know its not possible for lot of parents but anytime I had to leave kid with a day care or nanny, I feel guilty..Even if the Nanny/ daycare has lot of good references, I can never have 100% confidence in them as they are not parents and your kid is just one of the many to them.. it comes down to personal choice OT. In our case, HD sacrificed her career despite good credentials and opportunities because we didn't want to leave kids at any care center. Probably would have lost few hundred thousands extra income over the years but money is not the only thing in life. | ||

We did not send our daughter to day care until she is 2 years. Until then, By the time I come home, illanthha kishkinda kaanda..Then we started sending her part time to a licensed Day care where we have the option to see her on video. It worked out well. | ||

Depends le. Usual ga day care people asalu strain theesukoru kids konchem cranky unte. I've see this in multiple places. Na kid not a complete special need one but kind of which I cannot explain here. Day care of plate mundestaru thinte thinnattu ledante clean chesetaru. Konchem cough or sneeze unte ante theesuku ravoddu antatu which is fine considering other kids. But there was never a personal touch in day cares. In house nanny ala kadu we instruct her and she used to literally follow those. Na kid ki thana ki manchi bondage gel ayyindi and a happy kid from there on. It all depends on case by case and person to person. | ||

unfortunate incident One year ago, on Thursday, March 27, 2014, a six-month-old baby girl was left in the care of a neighbor, Pallavi Macharla, who regularly provided child care for the baby. It is alleged that at approximately 2:40 p.m, Macharla called the baby’s mother to say the baby was not breathing. The mother drove to Macharla’s home and saw Macharla performing mouth-mouth respirations on her daughter who was limp and nonresponsive. The mother immediately called 911. The defendant reported that the baby became unresponsive after vomiting following a feeding. First responders arriving at the residence on Baron Park Lane in Burlington found the baby unresponsive, pulseless, and apneic. The child was transported by ambulance to Lahey Hospital and then to Boston Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead on March 30, 2014. Diagnostic tests and studies were performed, which revealed that the baby was suffering from diffuse subdural hemorrhaging, diffuse subarachnoid hemorrhaging, diffuse and multilayered bilateral retinal hemorrhages and retinoschisis. Additionally, she was found to have multiple vertebral compression fractures to the base of the thoracic spine and upper lumbar spine, which were dated to have been inflicted on March 27, 2014, and were consistent with forceful axial loading or extreme hyperflexion such as seen in shaking. The medical team opined that the injuries were consistent with Abusive Head Trauma. At autopsy, bilateral subscalpular hemorrhages and multiple subperiosteal hemorrhages were revealed. The cause of death was ruled "blunt force and shaking injuries of head." | ||

Day care ledhu vankaya care ledhu..Job manesi mother ye kid schooling age( or atleast age 3) varaku chusukovali intlo ne ani na strictest wish and i pushed for the same... even i got resistance and criticism by relatives i dont care....i am very happy finally ante kids ki edho aipotundhi daycare ki pampisthe ani kadhu...for some unknown reason my mind never adjust to the point of leaving a baby to daycare like a chicken in caged farm.....sorry if my view point hurts many of you who sends to daycare amma nanna or grand parents chetullo peragaleni baby ni i cannot imagine | ||

It takes 2-3 weeks for kids to get used to day care, it's tough but you shouldn't give up. It's better to leave ur kids with licensed and trained people. There might be good nannys and desi day cares but is it worth taking a chance.. | ||

Unfortunately, there is no defense in the case. It doesn't matter if she was ignorant or deliberate, she was will receive the same judgement. On top of this, she was running a daycare without a license, and very likely she didn't pay taxes on the income. She is in a big mess. The laws surrounding child abuse (physical/psychological) are very strict in this country. For example, if your child gets an injury and goes to see a doctor, if the doctor suspects the injury is non-accidental, then he/she will (doctors and all those who have significant contact with children are required to report abuse) call child protective services, who will take further steps to determine if its indeed accidental. | ||

not just desi baby sitters..intiki vache nannies kuda chala cases unnayi. no matter how much you trust a person you never know what goes behind the 4 walls. Especially when a baby cries nonstop for non-parents its easy to lose patience and out of anger they might do something like this. Best bet is always child care centers. Cameras untayi, class ki 3-4 teachers so there is lot of accountability and okaru chustaru anna bhayam. Winter lo sick aitaru kaani i will take cold and cough over the chance of some person hurtingmy child . | ||

Even If your parents can't help, it's better to raise the kid at home for the first 1.5 years even at the expense of spouse's salary....Bay area loo sometimes I find it surprising that both the dad and mom work in good jobs, but they still cut corners leaving kids in unlicensed day care for saving a little bit... | ||
