I am only talking about the context....2003 lo janalaki congress party lo CBN ki alternative ga oka leader kanapaddadu in the form of YSR, so that helped, lekunte CBN would have won again...gujarat lo modi ki there was no alternative face....the AH running the show against modi is ahmed patel, a chamcha who has never won an election in the last 3 decades or so, so obviously people look into those things....and the congress talking about religion to corner modi only helped his cause to unite hindus.
