unexpected bumper offer thagili "I" movie choosan. Sometimes we get an idea, and the idea would appear as though it is our best since we have started "creating" ideas. We add some grandeur to it, with latest possible enhancements you can think of, and also using some new concepts that we have learnt recently. But when we keep brooding on it, we realize that the idea is a below average one, and there was a reason such an idea was never practically implemented. we will see through the shallowness of it, and all the sense of "Eureka" and "Grandiose" die, and we curse ourselves for being such a fool. But sometimes, you never realize that its bad, until it is probably too late. I think thats what happend with "I". I feel shankar tries to potray two extremes in a single character, or has two related characters that represents the opposite ends. Like in genteleman - there is a self made, humble, down to earth law abiding Kittu, hidden beneath is a Robin hood Bharatheeyudu - one side has a character that is patriotic, rebellious, and who cant stand corruption, and his own blood is a character anti-thesis to it. Aparachithudu - there is a cowardly citizen, but inside there is unconscious beast Robo - the good, life saving robo turns bad, destructive one I - there is one good looking, muscular, and forgiving guy, turned ugly and weak ofcourse by no mistake of his Once he had the idea, he might have had the eureka moment, but im afraid he could not come up with any decent story line to make the idea blossom into a story lasting three hours. He had to fall back to the love-revenge mode, but to make it a grand one, had to rely on the revenge being as shocking it could be. In my view, a very average movie. there were its moments, but too many un-needed distractions. Vikram - did a lot of hard work, well, thats an understatement. I applaud him for his dedication. I dont know how the country bumpkin role was in Tamil, but in Telugu, who ever delivered the dailogs, and who ever has worked on the script, screwed it very bad. you will never connect to it as a telugu person any where from the state. apart from that he did very good work. His potrayal of betrayed person by his lover, and later his friend was awesome The lead lady dont know her name(some jackson) i think. She did very good. Rest all are passe. Osma Johnson hevvar oo kani.. movie ki high light, if she/he disgusted you, i think that says how well the part was potrayed! Suresh gopi, a great veteran, unna scope ki perfect ga chesadu Photography was pretty good.. inga konni baa set chesaadu. |
