Bullabbai:On the contrary, If you take a discounted phone from AT&T, they charge 40$ for that line instead of 15$. So in nutshell its good if you get your own phone, otherwise not.
yes...say if you take iphone 6...they charge you 27$ in installments for ...for 1 line it will be
35+ 27 = 62...
but after 24 months...say if you postpone taking next phone for few months...every month you save 27...

I had one unlimted data plan and one 2 GB plan with 550 minutes and no text...and i was getting 125-130 every month on 2 lines...
but here also for eveey phone i pay 200 upfront and sign 2 year contract...200 on each line is $8 per month for 24 months..
so my actual cost is 125 + 8 + 8 = 140 for 2 lines...
So assuming you take phones in both the cases for every 2 years on 2 lines..
unlimited text/talk + 5 GB data @$125 (with personal hotspot option)
VS
550 min + no text + unlimited and 2 GB @ 140 (wit no personal hotpsot on nunlimted plan) |

I think this works only if you get your own phone or sign-up for Next plan. Next plan will add whatever charges it has for that device. On the contrary, If you take a discounted phone from AT&T, they charge 40$ for that line instead of 15$. So in nutshell its good if you get your own phone, otherwise not. |
