With all due respect to your personal interests and favouratism to SRK, I would like to share anti-Kuch Kuch Hota Hain points: I liked SRK right from the days of Fauji TV serial (Abhimanyu Rai) till 1998. After Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, I have become a die hard critic of him. Except Devdas, Swades, Chak De & Om Shanti OM none of his movies had the actual stuff to be called as a HIT (including Kuch Kuch Hota Hain). 1. Basic story plot lacks logic. If your first love is always TRUE, how can SRK who considers Kajol as his best friend, get some feelings for her only after her saree falls down (during the song at summer camp). Stupid logic of SRK. Atleast Kajol always loved him from college and so she be indifferent to Salman is justified. SRK character is the WORST in this film. 2. Cinematic liberties taken to the maximum level. Summer camp lo SRK & his mother along with his kid..The other kids have no chance to bring their parents  Also that college with such cheap faculty by Anumpam Kher & Archanc Puran Singh was more like a COMICS than a college. Never again can you see such campus again, with micro mini skirts, jill-jill colours... 3. The worst emotional scenes which SRK could not emote. He has a bad sense of humour (crude) and weak emotional quotient which was displayed in this movie. No wonder Karan Johar finally confessed in 2013, that it was an IDIOTIC movie which was influenced by the acutal craftsman Aditya Chopra's DDLJ. No arguments on the collections, awards and rewards this movie got, but keeping the herd mentality aside, as a true movie lover, this was one of the MOST OVERRATED CRAP MOVIE, I have ever seen... | ||
