I am inclined to call it for Cilic, remember Richard Krajicek in 1996 Wimbledon, he was a journeyman for years till he played the lights out in 1996 Wimby. He took out Sampras in his prime in straight setes in the quarters which was the shock of the decade anukovachchu. Similar game and build, big serve, huge groundstrokes etc. He lost only one set in the entire tournament. Cilic's play against Fed reminded me of him...If he plays anything close to that, he will take it. | ||

cilic is the favorite...he is in good touch and was not on the backfoot in any of the games...not tested at all especially bird and fed matches ayithe one sided..better serve than nishikori nishikori OTOH played gritty tennis roanic and stan matches ...fatigue might be a problem ... ever gelsina sad feeling for the other player..man ye fed , djoker occhi odipoyina feel avvakareledhu allakosam | ||
