Care to disagree. 2. Just becoz MGR was the first actor turned politician doesnt make the rest following in his footsteps. And oh, NTR took on the might of Indira Gandhi at her peak vs convenient coalitions by MGR. 3. Made his way into Movies and Politics on his own without any Godfathers and just thru sheer determination and hardwork. Had the highest order of discipline and punctuality as confirmed by millions. Never touched a penny of Govt. Exchequer and never allowed his own sons to do so. Took brave decisions through sheer stubbornness to back what he felt was right for the society. If the above arent examples of Personal Integrity and Role modelness, I wonder what else are. I know scores of people who werent into his movies and politics but were just great admirers of the above qualities. There are many IAS/IPS officers I have spoken to who held him in the highest esteem only for his personal integrity. Bottomline: Ignorance is Bliss. | ||
