Kick Records Extraordinary Thursday For A Huge First Week Total Thursday 31 July 2014 23.00 IST Box Office India Trade Network Kick recorded another big day on Thursday as collections look set to be 14 crore nett with a possibility of even hitting 15 crore nett. The film is in overdrive and it could turn out to be that lowest weekday for the film is Monday. The film is heading for a 155 crore nett plus first week which is simply outstanding as four of the first seven days were pre Eid. There could even be a couple of circuits of which set a new record for first week collections. Kick has been unstoppable in UP over the last two days and it was no different on Thursday as single screens remained house full for the third day in a row. The film has put up a number on Thursday (day 7) which hardly any films have put on Monday. In fact only 15 odd films have collected a similar or higher amount on day one. | ||

It was the fifth time that the film went over 20 crore nett which is a record as it collected 20.50 crore nett. The business of the film in six days is nearly 141 crore nett There are many circuits playing catch up as they missed some business pre Eid and Mumbai was fantastic as it grossed 6.50 crore nett on Wednesday just 50 lakhs nett less than the day before. Some stations even had a better collections than Monday. Kick Continues With Another Huge Day On Wednesday Wednesday 30 July 2014 23.30 IST Box Office India Trade Network Kick continued its fantastic run on Wednesday with collections looking to be a huge19 crore nett approx. The film could even hit the 20 crore nett mark but that will depend on what happens in Mumbai as bad weather has hit in parts again. The collections in UP were phenomenal with some places recording better collections than yesterday and single screens running to full houses across the state. East Punjab has had a fall but that is expected as it has been leading since day one and there is hardly any Ramadan affect in the circuit so the best collections cam initially. The way the film is going it will be Salman Khan's biggest grosser by a distance and should comfortably cross the business of Chennai Express which is the second highest grosser ever at around 208 crore nett though it will be the Friday figures which will confirm this and business in all circuits will ahve settled by then. | ||

Kick Is Top Grosser Of 2014 In Five Days Wednesday 30 July 2014 11.30 IST Box Office India Trade Network Kick was fantastic on Eid as it collected a huge 26 crore nett with some circuits recording the highest numbers for the film on Tuesday out of the first five days. Nizam / Andhra which had collected just 55 lakhs on Monday zoomed up to 1.75 crore nett. UP which had just 1 crore nett on Monday went up to 2.75 crore nett. Both these areas were better than day one and Sunday Gujarat was hit by rains which meant Mumbai circuit did not collect to potential but the rest of the country was excellent. The film has now gone over 120 crore nett in five days and is already the biggest grosser of year. The film is doing extraordinary business in Rajasthan which is around 9 crore nett in five days and East Punjab which is 12.50 crore nett in five days. In Rajasthan it is heading to be the biggest nett grosser ever but entertainment tax which will be 30% from next week onwards may play spoilsport. Still it will emerge number one in terms of gross business. | ||

Despite it being pre Eid the Monday will the third or fourth highest ever when a film has not had a holiday on Monday. . The film is the biggest hit of 2014 but it will be the Tuesday to Friday period which will decide where the film is going in terms of lifetime business. It is possible that the film can remain above the Monday figure for the next three days. Rajasthan was fantastic on Monday hitting the 1 crore nett mark while UP was again worse hit due to pre Eid sd the UP contribution to the Delhi/UP circuit will just be 1 crore nett. That should change from tomorrow and UP should be the best performing area across India. | ||
