my case, i finalised the home negotiated with builder etc etc and just added a agent in the last moment so that the builder pays the agent commision..the agent gave 50% back to me and i had to report in taxes | ||

if he helped u a lot in home buying he may not accept a cut in his commission. if you zeroed a house and adding a realtor just for the buyers commission u can add him as a buyer agent and ask him for cut. i think desi realtors are easy to deal with in these aspects.you can definetly ask | ||

So you don't have a agent for you..you just went for a open house. i dont think you will have to pay any buyers commision directly..but the pricing usually includes the % that seller has to pay to the agent. my purchase was directly through a new home builder..so i am not an expert on existing homes.someone else should answer this more precisely. all i know is the houses will be priced with what the seller has to pay as commission to the agent.so you should be bargaining. check the zillow estimate | ||

Master insurance would be around 100 for your home. another 100 for snow removal , trash etc. so in and around 200 is good.. anything more than that is waste. remember 300per month can clear 20k loan in 5 years.. that is why condos are not worth | ||
