I bought a gold coin in Zurich. 1 Oz Canadian Maple Leaf for around 1300. The American Eagle is around 15 dollars more. Now my question is the Maple Leaf is 24 karat (999.9 purity) while the Eagle is only 916 purity. But the Eagle is priced more. I am not able to fathom why. I searched on the net and many others have the same question but i did not a good answer... |
