A director is supposed to utilize HERO's talents and producers MONEY wisely. It is Sukumar who told the story and convinced Hero and producers. There were too many UNNECESSARY chases and unrealiztics scenes. The FIRST scene in the movie itself is not realistic. A small boy running right in front of the GOONS with the guns and they not being able to shoot him. | ||

But, from a director like Sukumar, these kind of illogical scenes are NOT expected. For me, BEST TFI directors consistently are Rajamouli and Trivikram. | ||

Just came back from the '1' movie (11:45 AM show in Centerville, VA). One word to describe: "ABSURD". This might be the FIRST movie that I watched in US theaters that is going to be a BIG FLOP. The only saving grace of the movie is MAHESH's presence. NO OTHER telugu hero could have acted in this role that well. Few songs are GOOD and the taking is definitely Hollywood taking. WORST is Sukurmar's direction. PS: For the RECORD, I am a BIG Mahesh Fan. |
