Infact AAP should concentrate on the task at hand i.e. ushering accountability in governance and making services delivery easier for the common man, in the state where they have won. If they start talking of Lok Sabha, then they are getting dragged into the dirty fight between the two big parties and that would mean a deviation from thier stated objective. Kejriwal has done a big favor by defeating Mrs.Dikshit and now should concentrate on governance instead of talking about LS elections. Very soon there might will be a few disenchented people who will leave the party and this will be blown up the national media and the two big parties as a sign that the AAM movement is over. | ||

My personal view...They should not go national too soon. They need to decentralize the power in Delhi, break this nexus of Corporate - Government - Media mafia in the distribution of Water, Power and other basic utilities. Instead of the Lok Sabha, they need to concentrate on the Local bodies elections - Changes need to be done at the Ward level. It hardly matters who the President or PM is when you have a Reliance or Adani or Jaypee calling the shots in policy making. Today you have lot of people willing to join AAP - and they need to be carefull in whonm they induct into the party. And at the same time, develop a strong second line of leadership. | ||

You need to demonstrate AAP has a coherent team and - in stock market parlance - has depth, breadth, and resiliency. AAP needs to have a deep bench of people who exhibit your qualities, your commitment, and your integrity. AAP needs to have a large number of people with varying backgrounds - with consistent and constant moral character - who are good at various things and can run an administration and govern a country. AAP needs to survive a potential loss of a few of its top leaders. Names of people who will take over the roles of those who may no longer be around in case of "eventualities" need to be known. | ||
