@2009: i-94 paper copy ivvadam maanesaru... it's all online now... but I-94 ivvadam aagaledu...
they will definitely ask for PP validity to be at least 6 months...
SFO lo process would be max 3 weeks...nenu last year chepincha...

Visa few weeks loo expire avuthundi anna allow chesaru naku telisina oka case loo. But I am not sure about passport. check with travel agencies them may have info on this.

read this . its taking close to 2-3 months to get passport.

its ok even if the passport is expired you can apply from US. but since your passport is expiring in less than a month from your travel date, check and see if you will face any at point of entry or getting exit stamp while leaving india.

your pp should have atlast 6 months before the expiry date to get a visa. donno if the same rule applies for leaving the country as well.

Usually when you are coming back..it is suggested that your PP has at least 6 months... so aa risk untadi.. and moreover I-94 PP expiration date varake isaru..

I applied for PP renewal at SFO ...whole proccess antha 3 weeks lo aipoindi... make sure that you send MO for postal charges or pre paid postal envelope...

...so that they will send it to you as soon as processing is done...

PASS PORT EXPIRES in March 15 th 2014. Next month India travel padindi between Jan 27th through Feb 23rd. I have everything ready to send the application Monday to SFO center. postal application takes 4 wks processing time.. last minute surprises vunte it takes even more time. delay aythey travel plan affect avvuddi ani think chesthunna
